Pancake Breakfast at

Our Lady of Peace

OLOP

Thanks to all the folks who came out to enjoy breakfast and visit with some of the FSPCA's adoptable dogs and cats!  More than $800 was raised and many animal supplies were donated to help care for the shelter's animals.  Dana Fulk and the residents of Our Lady of Peace have been very gracious to host this annual fundraiser in support of Fluvanna's homeless pets.  We appreciate your ongoing support!

Thanks to everyone for making our
3rd Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser a success!

Keswick Wine Tasting
Thanks to the wine lovers and FSPCA supporters who attended our 3rd Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser at Keswick Vineyards on Saturday, September 10th.  We couldn't have asked for a better day!

Over 250 people came out to enjoy an afternoon of sipping wine and relaxing in the sunshine with a variety of delicious desserts.  They were treated to the music of Generations 102.3's on-site broadcast, and many fantasized about driving the convertible that sponsor BMW of Charlottesville showcased at the event.  As a result of the generosity of local businesses, we had over 130 silent auction items to bid on - something for everyone!

We would like to thank our volunteers, sponsors, silent auction donors, and dessert bar contributors for making the event so successful.  And the four-legged residents of the FSPCA would like to thank everyone for helping raise over $12,000 for their care!

On Sunday, November 21st, Dr. Martin Betts and other staff at the Charlottesville Veterinary Hospital donated their time, supplies, and facility to spay and neuter 58 FSPCA cats and dogs.  FSPCA volunteers shuttled all the animal patients from the shelter to Charlottesville and then back again.  Shelter Director, Tricia Johnson, coordinated this amazing effort to get numerous shelter animals ready for adoption.

This generous donation of services by CVH has been enormously helpful to the Fluvanna SPCA and our community's homeless animals.  Here's a huge, heartfelt "thank you!" to the staff of CVH for making a difference.
